sonsor can be powered in four different ways.

1. With the included power adapter and cable, you can connect your sonsor directly to a 230V outlet.
   
2. If you have a USB-C output available, you can also power your sonsor with the included cable. (This also includes power banks – just make sure that the power bank's trickle charge mode can be switched off. sonsor is so energy-efficient that power banks sometimes switch off on their own.)
   
3. If you want to be on the safe side, you can also operate your sonsor from an outlet with a power bank connected in between. If the mains power fails, the power bank takes over and gives you a buffer until the mains voltage is restored.
   
4. If you own a sonsor connect or a sonsor connect+ for concealed installation, you can also connect these directly to the 12V supply voltage of a body or vehicle battery.

Accessories

The SIM card in your sonsor with a mobile data connection guarantees you 5 years of reception. After that, we can reactivate the SIM card for you. However, we cannot foresee what this will cost in 5 years. For this reason, you have the option to purchase the "Mobile Lifetime - one-time for sonsor" product. This means we will automatically take care of extending the data contract for your sonsor.

Please note that "Mobile Lifetime" applies per sonsor device and is therefore linked to its serial number.
Card

If you have to leave your darlings in the car for a short time, sonsor will keep an eye on them for you. Boundary alarms for temperature and volume will alert you in good time if something isn't right, so you can react immediately.

sonsor watches over you while you sleep. Depending on your nighttime security needs and the positioning of your sonsor system, you can choose between two reliable monitoring options:
With interior monitoring, sonsor detects movements or unusual activities in your vehicle or object.
Alternatively, "envelope protection" through door and window contacts provides security by immediately reporting unauthorized opening.

No matter which option you choose, the sonsor app will alert you to critical incidents even in "Do Not Disturb" mode. This way, you are always safe – even while sleeping.

Intrusion detection through indoor surveillance is only possible with the sonsor mobil and sonsor home models. It is carried out by four individually adjustable sensors:

1. Motion
2. Vibration
3. Noise
4. Light

sonsor uses the readings from these sensors to calculate an activity probability. If this value exceeds a limit, you will immediately receive an alarm via the sonsor app on your phone.

Depending on the location, you can adjust the sensitivity and range of the sensors to adapt your sonsor alarm system to your individual location.

In the sonsor app, you can individually adjust the settings of the sensors for intrusion detection.
Additionally, you can expand the system with suitable accessories to detect intrusion attempts via windows and doors even more precisely.

Intrusion detection via perimeter protection is possible with all sonsor models. In combination with sonsor door and window contacts, the opening of doors or windows can be detected. If these are integrated into the intrusion detection system, an opening directly triggers an intrusion alarm.

No, the sonsor is an indoor device and therefore not weatherproof. However, it is robustly built and can withstand light drops or shocks.
For optimal and reliable use, we recommend securely mounting the device and placing it freestanding. This way, your sonsor is perfectly positioned and "looks into the room."

With the sonsor air quality measurement, you can see directly how polluted the air in your property is, and you will be warned automatically when it is time to ventilate. To measure air quality, sonsor detects volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These gases are optimal indicators for air pollution, unusual gases and odors, and bacterial growth. To detect gases such as propane or butane, as well as carbon monoxide (CO), you can expand your alarm system with the sonsor gas detector.

For the battery monitor function of the sonsor system to be used, the Alarm Siren & Battery Monitor device must be connected directly to the power source (12 V) to be monitored. To do this, use the connection terminal on the back of the alarm siren.
The integrated battery monitor function measures the applied voltage and estimates the current charge level from it. It does not serve as a precise measuring device, but as a practical addition to keep an eye on the general condition of the battery.

Smallest voltage changes are evaluated in combination with the battery type information to determine the approximate charge level. Deviations from other display instruments are possible, as many battery systems internally use a so-called offset to avoid deep discharges.
The estimated battery level is displayed in the sonsor app. Simply activate the battery monitor tile in your dashboard to keep an eye on your system's power supply at all times.

The sonsor alarm siren has been developed as an acoustic deterrent to complement the sonsor alarm system. Its volume is comparable to that of a smoke detector and quickly becomes very unpleasant, especially indoors. Avoid prolonged exposure to avoid risking hearing damage.
