Depending on the model used, break-in detection of the sonsor alarm system can be implemented through interior monitoring, perimeter protection, or a combination of both.

You can easily invite your family or friends to share your home with them. This gives them access to the most important information and they are automatically notified if something unusual happens or a break-in is detected. Together, you always have everything in view!

sonsor is pet-friendly. We recommend positioning sonsor so that your pet does not walk directly in front of it. In addition, smaller animals are generally not detected, so false alarms are avoided. This way your home stays safe – without your pet affecting the protection.

For the lower floor we recommend door and window contacts for windows or possible balcony access. With these accessories you can extend the sonsor system and check even when you're away whether a window was left open or whether someone opened it without authorization. This gives you even more security and control – no matter where you are.

Accessories

The innovative live mode lets you transmit the sensor data of the sensors involved in interior monitoring in real time. In the event of a break-in, you get direct insight into the interior and see whether and what activity is actually taking place there. This gives you an ideal view of the location you are monitoring with the “data camera” without having to rely on a power- or data-intensive “image camera”.

Break-in detection is only possible with the sonsor mobil and sonsor home models. It works via four individually adjustable sensors.

sonsor uses the readings from these sensors to calculate an activity probability. If this value exceeds a threshold, you immediately receive an alarm via the sonsor app on your phone.

Depending on the location, you can adjust the sensitivity and range of the sensors to adapt your sonsor alarm system to your individual location.

Yes, break-in detection can be extended with door and window contacts on all sonsor models. This accessory reliably monitors doors and windows and provides additional protection in your apartment.

If the contacts are integrated into break-in detection in the sonsor app, you receive an alarm message as soon as a door or window is opened – before an intruder can even move around in your apartment.

The Key function automatically arms the break-in monitoring of your sonsor alarm system when you are no longer nearby, and deactivates it when you return. For this you need a sonsor key fob. When you have this wireless tag with you, your sonsor detects when you are nearby and when you are not. You can easily use one sonsor key fob at several locations.

You can activate the Key function in the sonsor app. To do so, slide the break-in monitoring activation slider all the way to the right.

The range of the sonsor key fobs is specified by the manufacturer as >100m. However, this refers to optimal conditions and decreases quite quickly depending on the structural conditions on site. A range of at least 20m is often more realistic. Note that your motorhome in the driveway may still be within range of your key fob. Manual arming or the timer in the sonsor app helps here.

If you use a sonsor model with the corresponding indoor sensors, you can be notified when limit values you have set individually are exceeded. These include: temperature (exceeded and fallen below), humidity, and noise

With the sonsor air quality measurement, you can see directly how polluted the air in your property is and, if you wish, you are warned directly when it is time to ventilate. To measure air quality, sonsor detects volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These gases are ideal indicators of air pollution, unusual gases and odors, and the growth of bacteria. To detect gases such as propane or butane as well as carbon monoxide (CO), you can extend your alarm system with the sonsor gas detector.
