If an alarm is triggered, you can activate live mode – the integrated sensor camera – and check the situation immediately. As with a video stream, you see the relevant measured values in real time, such as movement on board, noise level, vibrations, and changes in light, clearly as a history and current display. This lets you tell within a few seconds whether it is a real danger or just a harmless movement in the harbor. Completely without camera recording – and thus with full protection of privacy.

Activation also happens completely automatically with a small key fob: when you board your vessel, monitoring is deactivated. When you move away from the boat again, the system arms itself. You don't have to operate anything manually – sonsor thinks along and reliably protects your boat.

With sonsor you always know where your boat or yacht currently is. The GPS integrated in sonsor, combined with cellular, reliably shows you the current location in the app – ideal in the harbor, at the anchorage, or in winter storage. If your boat is moved without authorization, cast off from the pier, drifts away, or is even stolen, you can locate your vessel. This way you can react quickly and stay in control even in critical situations.

Where is the best place for sonsor on my boat?
Install your sonsor as centrally as possible on your boat or yacht. This allows movement to be detected throughout the space. Positions with a clear line of sight are ideal, such as in the entrance area or slightly elevated on the wall or ceiling. It is important that the front sonsor surface is not covered.

If the temperature drops critically, you can protect pipes and equipment in time. If it rises sharply in extreme sun, you immediately receive a warning before sensitive electronics, batteries, or interior fittings are damaged. This way your boat stays optimally protected in any weather.

The readings are based on the detection of hydrocarbons and the calculation of a CO₂ equivalent. This way you ensure fresh air and a healthy climate below deck – especially important with closed hatches or longer stays in the cabin.

If a hatch is left open and rain gets in or residual water collects in the cabin, humidity rises quickly – sonsor reports this development to you immediately. You are also notified in good time if humidity stays high for a long time, for example due to wet gear or insufficient ventilation in the harbor. This way you can react before mold forms, wood swells, or electrics and upholstery are damaged.

Control at sea without shore power
With the additional function of the sonsor alarm siren, you can also monitor the charge level of your on-board battery while on board. The integrated battery monitor is part of the siren and can be individually activated and configured in the accessory settings.
If the battery voltage falls below a defined critical threshold – for example during a longer sailing trip or with high consumption on board – you immediately receive a notification. This way you can react in time, reduce consumers, or secure the power supply before unexpected outages occur.
